Tom Sillence

Tom’s career spans more than forty-five years of military and industry success in operating, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting mission systems in the EW, ISR, Space, and Cyber domains for a wide variety DoD and IC customers. Much of his career was spent as an operator, engineer, and solutions architect focused on developing new and advancing existing mission capabilities. Later, Tom employed these skills as a chief engineer and program/project manager. As one of CNF’s directors, Tom brings decades of experience, enthusiasm, and a well-connected and integrated team of partners and employees whose aligned objectives are ready to tackle challenges and ensure customer success. More recently, Tom has taken on the added role leading CNF’s university technical and engineering outreach, focused on mentoring the next generation of engineers and operators.
